BNSF's Action from Grand Island to Ravenna on July 25,2015
Brad's railfanning series
My brother wanted me to get a box of pennies and i try 3 banks. One was for businesses in which don't make sense. One bank the lobby was closed. One i went and got it and send it to the apartment. After that, i went out to film trains along the BNSF's Ravenna Subdivision. I filmed a couple empty hoppers near Cairo. After that, i went to subway to get 3 of the 6-inch cold cut trios in which i got a coupon for them. You buy 2 six-inch subs and get one free. After all that, i went to Ashley park by the BNSF line and eat the subs and film a couple loaded coal trains there including all Norfolk Southern loaded coal train. After that, i went west of Cairo and filmed a empty hopper train up the hill. I drove around towards Ravenna and filmed a loaded coal train making the switch. The trains i've filmed except the last train of the day was coal. The last train i've filmed is a cement train west of Grand Island.
Mileage of the day is: 133 miles
Fuel cost: $.00
